An unidentified aircraft dropped three bombs on the Nigerien border town of Abadam yesterday afternoon, leaving at least 36 people dead and 27 wounded during a funeral for a local prefecture official according to Niger’s army. It is still unclear who conducted the air strike, but Niger, Nigeria and Chad denied being responsible.
