Thirteen people were killed, including three senior Libya Dawn commanders, in a heavy clash in the city Tajoura, in which up to 250 may have escaped from the town’s jail according to local sources. Officials said the dispute began when officers killed a man trying to steal a car near the facility. In retaliation, the deceased’s family stormed the prison and burned the nearby state buildings.
